Artist's Description
Mount Airy in North Carolina is also known as Mayberry and it is a town caught in the past when in the 1950s it was used to film the Andy Griffiths Show. The town has given itself over to recreating and memorialising a time when family values and community life was very different from today. The police cars are now used as taxis to show tourists a way of life long gone
About Brenda Kean
I have been a travel photographer for the past 30 years selling my work via photo libraries. I would welcome any comments you might wish to make about the choice I have made of images to submit to Fineartamerica. Photography has been my passion for 30 years and I also teach it to pass on my knowledge to the next generation. I get the greatest buzz to think that long after I depart this life, my work may still be earning an income for my great great grandchildren. To me that is a sort of immortality. For free slideshows of some of my trips please see my website at www.brenda-kean.pixels.com, or at https://www.instagram.com/quasarphotos . If you see something you like tell me and I will put it up on Fineartamerica for you to buy PLEASE...
