Symbols in brickwork and iron of a post-industrial Northern Town in England that once was a powerhouse of cotton spinning and weaving, coal mining and iron working. All these industries are long gone and the town that gave them life slowly slips out of History. Eventually the building that supports this artwork, now hidden by bushes, will itself disappear and will become itself part of the past.
I have been a travel photographer for the past 30 years selling my work via photo libraries. I would welcome any comments you might wish to make about the choice I have made of images to submit to Fineartamerica. Photography has been my passion for 30 years and I also teach it to pass on my knowledge to the next generation. I get the greatest buzz to think that long after I depart this life, my work may still be earning an income for my great great grandchildren. To me that is a sort of immortality. For free slideshows of some of my trips please see my website at www.brenda-kean.pixels.com, or at https://www.instagram.com/quasarphotos . If you see something you like tell me and I will put it up on Fineartamerica for you to buy PLEASE...
