Tropical Garden at Monte above Funchal Madeira
This wonderful garden is at the top of the cablecar from the seafront in Funchal. It is filled with trees, plants and flowers. It has a lake with an impressive waterfall on paths take you all through this tropical paradise. There are azulejo pictorial tiles panels, Chinese and Japanese gate, statues and walkways. The garden has ponds with Koi Carp and areas for quiet contemplation. It is a quite magical place
