The Butchart Gardens is a group of floral display gardens in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada, near Victoria on Vancouver Island which claims to receive more than a million visitors each year. Robert Pim Butchart and his wife Jennie Butchart. In 1904, they built their home on the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island, and in 1906, Jennie started creating this wonderful garden
