I have been a travel photographer for the past 30 years selling my work via photo libraries. I have over 71,000 images up on the internet in these libraries, which bring me a steady income. I never thought of selling them directly as my problem is I can never judge which of my images will sell. Usually they are the ones I least expect. So this is a new venture for me and I would welcome any comments you might wish to make about the choice I have made of images to submit to Fineartamerica. I will expand the image collection over the next few months.
Photography has been my passion for 40 years and I also teach it each week to pass on my small talent to the next generation as I am now 71 years old. I get the greatest buzz to think that long after I depart this life, my work may still be earning an income for my great great grandchildren. To me that is a sort of immortality. I have just returned from a trip to the USA and I am now setting my calendar dates for my trips in 2015. However my favorite trip was a 3 week tour in 2012 when I started at the Mexican Border and worked my way all up the Pacific Coast to the Canadian Border and flew back to the UK from Seattle. It took me 5 months to work through the 7300 images I took. In 2014 my big trip was to Arizona and New Mexico and I also visited Nerja in Spain, the greek Island of Lesvos, Turin in Italy, Budapest in Hungary and I will be in Malta at Christmas. Up to now in 2015 I am going to Mijas in Andalucia Spain in April and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and the Smokey Mountainsin May and Rome in June. For free slideshows of some of my trips please see my website at www.quasarphotos.com. I hope my images interest you
