I have been a travel photographer for the past 30 years selling my work via photo libraries. I have over 135,000 images up on the internet in these libraries, which bring me a steady income. I never thought of selling them directly as my problem is I can never judge which of my images will sell. Usually they are the ones I least expect. So this is a new venture for me and I would welcome any comments you might wish to make about the choice I have made of images to submit to Fineartamerica. I will expand the image collection over the next few months.
Photography has been my passion for 40 years and I also teach it each week to pass on my small talent to the next generation as I am now 74 years old. I get the greatest buzz to think that long after I depart this life, my work may still be earning an income for my great great grandchildren. To me that is a sort of immortality. I have just returned from a trip to the Greek island of Corfu and I am now setting my calendar dates for my trips in 2018. However one of my favorite trips was a 3 week tour when I started at the Mexican Border and worked my way all up the Pacific Coast to the Canadian Border and flew back to the UK from Seattle. For free slideshows of some of my trips please see my website at www.quasarphotos.com. I hope my images interest you. I have started putting some of my slideshows on www.youtube.com. I think they will be easier to watch on there as my website is rather old and slow. At the moment there are 16 slideshows and short videos. The latest slideshow is about Madeira an Atlantic Paradise
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FINEARTAMERICA WATERMARK WILL NOT APPEAR ON PURCHASED IMAGES.
