Description
Ausable Chasm is a sandstone gorge located in Keeseville, New York USA. The Ausable River runs through it, which then empties into Lake Champlain. The gorge is about two miles long, and is a significant tourist attraction in the Adirondacks region of Upstate New York. It is called by some the "Little Grand Canyon of the East" and is fed by the Rainbow Falls at its southern extreme.
