Description
The Aga Khan was an international social figure but was also leader of a sect of Muslims and was buried in this lovely mausoleum on the banks of the River Nile. Formerly people could visit the last resting place of the Agha Khan but when his widow died she requested that the mausoleum be sealed. The setting is quiet overlooking the botanical gardens of Kitchener Island at Aswan
