Description
The Karnak complex is a vast open-air museum and the largest ancient religious site in the world. It is probably the second most visited historical site in Egypt. It consists of four main parts (precincts) of which only one is accessible for tourists and the general public. This is the Precinct of Amun-Re, and this it is also the main part of the complex and by far the largest part.
