Santorini is essentially what remains after an enormous volcanic explosion that destroyed the earliest settlements on a formerly single island, and created the current geological caldera.
I have been a travel photographer for the past 30 years selling my work via photo libraries. Thank you so much for your comment. However who can take a bad photo on Santorini. It was a photographer's paradise. Have you seen my Mykonos Gallery. This is a very different island ,which is what I love about Greece, she has so many faces. Hopefully I will put up more of the Islands I have photographed over the past 30 years
