Church overlooking the Sea in Fira the Capital town on the island of Santorini in the Cyclades island in Greece.
Santorini is essentially what remains after an enormous volcanic explosion that destroyed the earliest settlements on a formerly single island, and created the current geological caldera.

Thank you so much for your comment. However who can take a bad photo on Santorini. It was a photographer's paradise. Have you seen my Mykonos Gallery. This is a very different island ,which is what I love about Greece, she has so many faces. Hopefully I will put up more of the Islands I have photographed over the past 30 years
